Are you dissing Kimini? The dude scratch-built a tube framed, carbon fiber-bodied, mid-engine Mini in his garage by himself over the better part of a decade and documented the entire thing, all over a decade ago.

I had no idea the car I saw was famous. It was very impressive in person, perhaps my subtlety was too subtle. I was impressed.
